Summer is here and that means adjusted operating hours for some University of Houston dining services locations.  

The summer period allows UH Dining and Facilities staff to spend time performing planned maintenance and completing enhanced cleaning and repairs for residential and some retail dining locations. This ensures that dining equipment is performing optimally during the academic year. Below is a summary of the open locations for the summer. Keep up to date by visiting the uh.edu/dining web site. 

Student Center South 

The Student Center Market will open at 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and close at 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Chick-fil-A and Starbucks will open at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday, but only Chick-fil-A will remain open past 3 p.m. Starbucks will also close on Saturday. 

Mondo Subs will operate Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Cougar Village 

The Cougar Village Market will operate seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Moody Towers 

The Moody Towers Dining Commons will have adjusted hours during the summer. 

Moody Dining Commons will be open Monday through Friday in two shifts. The first shift is for breakfast and lunch and operates from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. while the second shift, dinner, starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m.
