Dear Faculty and Staff,

We are pleased to provide you with updates on the ongoing search for the next Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs/Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost for the UH System/UH. Over the last six weeks, we have had an opportunity to listen to a broad representation of UH and UH System community members, including faculty, staff, deans and senior administrators. We are grateful for the wisdom shared and have used those insights in development of an evaluation tool to assess candidates.

We also appreciate the nominations you have provided. The committee has recently begun the formal process of reviewing applications with the continued goal of being able to bring finalists to UH in May. To that end, we will be back in touch in the next few weeks with further details.
