What makes a team successful? Why do teams fail?

McAllister and Quinn will give an overview of the requirements for team science and convergence research, the importance of forming a diverse and interdisciplinary team, and the best practices for developing a center-level team. The presentation will conclude with an overview of the funding cycle for federal center-level programs.

This virtual meeting will be informative for faculty who are new to the teaming process, as well as faculty who are looking to lead larger interdisciplinary teams to submit convergence research proposals.
