Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and University of Houston alumnus Jericho Brown has been named a 2024 MacArthur Fellow, celebrating his powerful work, tackling themes of identity, race, and society. Also, UH researchers and their students are using a $2.5 million National Institutes of Health grant to develop a new, AI-based software to advance cell-based immunotherapy to treat cancer and other diseases.
