Campus Jobs for Coogs Virtual Job Fair Coming Up

Campus Jobs for Coogs is an on-campus job fair and a great opportunity for UH students to find on-campus (both NON–College Work Study and College Work Study jobs) and for UH department and qualified off-campus non-profits to recruit students. This event happens every August to kick off the academic year. This year's event is set for August 6:

• 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.: College Work Study session (CWS eligible students only)
• 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Non-College Work Study session ONLY currently enrolled students for Fall 2021 may attend

To RSVP/sign up: Log into Cougar Pathway and RSVP/sign up under Events > Workshops & Special Events > Campus Jobs for Coogs.

Those who RSVP will be sent the Zoom link the morning of the event, to their UH email.

LGBTQ Alumni Association's Emergency Aid Grant Available Now

The UH LGBTQ Emergency Crisis Aid is operated by the UH LGBTQ Alumni Association and is available to UH Main Campus LGBTQIA+ students who have encountered a situation involving unusual financial hardship caused by emergency or circumstances beyond the students' control including housing or food insecurity, or other resource-based needs that threaten a student's ability to remain enrolled and to successfully complete their degree. Student Centers Adjusts Room Capacities

The Student Centers has increased its room capacities to 75 percent from July 1 - July 31, and we will resume 100 percent capacities on August 1. A room capacity guide can be found on the Student Centers’ Conference and Reservations web page for your reference and where you can book your upcoming events. You can also contact cars@uh.edu.

Ignite Leadership Program

• Summer 2021: Deferment Pay Plans and Book Loan Payments are due Thursday, July 22.
• Summer Session 1: The last day to drop a course or withdraw with a 'W' is Tuesday, July 20.
• Summer Session 4: The last day to add a class is Tuesday, July 13, and the last day to drop a course or withdraw without receiving a grade is Thursday, July 15.
• Fall 2021: Payment Plans and Book Loans are available on Friday, July 23.
