FrameWorks Fellowship Deadline Extended to July 15
FrameWorks provides sophomores and juniors a supportive community of peers and faculty mentors as they conceive, research, write, present, and ultimately publish critical essays that draw on the interdisciplinary humanities. All majors with a GPA of 3.5 of higher should apply.
Benefits include mentorship, peer support, and an annual Symposium. Essays that meet editorial standards will be included in the FrameWorks Journal, which will be published around Convocation of the following year. The best essay will be awarded The FrameWorks Prize for Excellence in Humanities Research valued at $1000. Apply today.

University Archives: UH Students Respond to COVID-19
University of Houston Libraries Special Collections seeks stories and perspectives from UH students pertaining to the coronavirus outbreak.
Your stories will be recorded and preserved in the University Archives. We are interested in stories about the shift to remote learning, being displaced from student housing, off-campus jobs (in retail, the service industry, grocery stores, etc.), remotely working your on-campus jobs, the ways you and your friends are staying in touch during this period of social distancing and self-quarantine, the challenges of international students or those with families abroad, and so on.
People of Color LGBTQ+ Discussion Group
Join us for our first People of Color LGBTQ+ discussion group this summer. Our new facilitator, Charles Graves will be engaging students while they connect and talk about anything that is on their minds. Sometimes the discussions are serious, and sometimes stimulating and lively.
