As we begin a new year and a new semester, I continue to be amazed at the accomplishments of our talented students, faculty, and staff.   I know 2020 will bring even more successes as we continue our pace towards greater prominence nationally and internationally as a university that “Dares to Dream” big.

Warm Regards,

The George Foundation has given $1 million to the College of Technology’s new building at UH at Sugar Land to fund state-of-the-art equipment for the engineering technology labs and enhance the IT infrastructure for classrooms. The Foundation has also issued additional $1 million matching grants for 2020 and 2021.  Thank you to The George Foundation!

Place of Pride: the UH Scholar’s Walk will be built between the M.D. Anderson Library and the Student Center to recognize and showcase faculty and student scholarship.  A technology-forward design will feature large digital boards to prominently display academic and research achievements that make UH a Tier One University.
