Emergency Funding Available

The Diamond Emergency Fund was created to provide funds for emergency financial needs to current full-time students who have spent time in the foster care system, are orphaned or a ward of the state. The application for assistance is open! Contact diamondscholars@uh.edu for more information.

Undergrad STEM Mentoring Fellowship

The Incubator of Racial Equity in STEM Education Fellowship program offers UH Arab-American STEM undergrad students an opportunity to mentor/tutor Arab refugee/immigrant high school students, with $1,000 stipend/semester. The semester-long program will run through both spring and fall semesters, with a time commitment of approximately 15 hours per week, including weekends. To apply for the program, applicants should submit a resume and a statement of interest (500 words maximum). Deadline to apply: January 31

New Rare Book Exhibits On View

Fresh from our Franzheim Rare Books collection, two new exhibits. On one, we are showcasing a selection of plates of The Tegner Album by the artist Hans Tegner. On the other, we are showcasing plates from The Palace of the Peace at the Hague by the architect Louis M. Cordonnier. So come and take a tour! On view now through July 2022 in the Architecture, Design and Art Library.

United Campus Ministry of Greater Houston Rest & Reset Spring Retreat

Join us for a chance to bask in nature and reset your mind and priorities for the spring semester. Plenty of social distancing and safety precautions to be COVID safe.
