MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

   Spring 2020

Leadership Message: Spring Forward with"2020 Vision"

As we continue through the spring of 2020, it's an exiciting time of renewal as we continue to upward trajectory of new beginnings throughout the Division, our departments and program areas.

It's especially fitting that "2020" is an appropriate analogy of "perfect vision," describing our innate ability to strive to be the best in all that we do for each other and through the collaborative partnerships and teams that contribute talent and expertise as we support the University community throughout the many projects and overall initiatives.

An excellent example of the A&F S.P.I.R.I.T. of Service Excellence was seen during the emergency response effort as a result of the water outage.  From Facilities and UH Dining to Houston Public Media, among many others, the proactive, collaborative team effort provided critical, timely information and continuous support to our students, faculty and staff.

Be sure to send me your latest news and accolades and let me know how you have embraced our ongoing commitment to go "above and beyond" in your area as together we continue onward and upward--

UH Here We Go!

Jim McShan
Senior Vice Chancellor and
Senior Vice President
