Dear CLASS Faculty and Staff:

Dean Antonio Tillis has been appointed Interim President of the University of Houston - Downtown. His appointment will begin July 2, 2020. I wish Dr. Tillis the very best as he accepts this interim appointment at UHD and greatly appreciate all of Dean Tillis' contributions to the University of Houston and value his leadership.

I have asked Dr. Dan O'Connor to serve as Interim Dean and assume all the responsibilities and authority of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. I thank Dr. O'Connor for his willingness to assume this important responsibility and look forward to working with him in his new role.
