Auxiliary Services Virtual Town Hall

Auxiliary Services will host a virtual town hall meeting through Teams. Auxiliary Services encompasses the dining, vending, and campus store programs on our campus. Queer Sex After Dark

The UH Wellness department will host the event Queer Sex After Dark. Queer Sex After Dark aims to provide medically accurate sexual health knowledge to UH students.  This special Sex After Dark event  will focus on the Queer community.

"Donuts with Dr. Dan" is an opportunity to speak with Dr. Daniel Maxwell, interim vice president of the Division of Student Affairs over light refreshments.  The Division of Student Affairs is comprised of 23 departments which include the Student Centers, The Justin Dart, Jr. Accessibility Center, Center for Student Involvement, The Recreation Center, Student Housing, Veteran Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, LGBTQ Resource Center, and more.

Israel Learning Abroad Trip - May 14-26, 2023

There will be a learning abroad trip to Israel this May led by University of Houston (UH), Professor David Mikics (dmikics@uh.edu) from the English Department and Carol Cooper.  The trip will be guided by Alex Stein and is open to all UH students. You must register for the trip by February 10th and the register link is here. The cost of the trip is between $5,025 - $5,300 depending on the amount of students travelling. A required $500 will be required by February with two additional payments due in March and April.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Movie

Interactive Wildlife Expo

Join The Center for Student Involvement at this collaborative event with the Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition, where students will get to interact with Texas wildlife! With animals ranging from snakes to tortoises, this interactive learning event is open to all!

Sociology in Action Lecture

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences will host the "Sociology in Action Lecture" by Dr. Greg Scott. Dr. Greg Scott considers the problems and prospects of using visual research and arts-based methods to examine and portray vulnerable persons and communities, including former prisoners, people who use drugs, sex workers, and the chronically unhoused.
