Faculty and staff parking permits for the 2020-2021 academic year will be available to purchase starting June 10.

Why Do You Need to Sign Up Now?

We are living in difficult and ever-changing times right now. Parking and Transportation Services is preparing for the return of students to campus this fall and wants to do what we can to diminish any worries or concerns you may have about securing a parking space. Behind the scenes, the work of ordering, assigning and distributing parking permits is demanding. By holding registration in early summer, it allows us enough time to meet the challenge and fullfill your expectations.

What Do You Need to Do?

If you currently have a garage, gated or reserved permit, please go here for separate instructions.

Otherwise, follow these steps starting June 10:

  • Log in to your parking account through AccessUH.
  • Click on the myParking Account icon
  • Select the Permits link at the top of the page.
  • Select your new 2020-2021 permit. (Please note: Permits for the current year are still available, so make sure you are buying a permit that has a "21" as the prefix for the year.)
  • Make sure your license plate and vehicle information is accurate.
  • If you need to remove a vehicle from your account, contact us for assistance.

How Much Time Do You Have?

In order to ensure you receive your permit through the mail in time for the first day of classes, we strongly urge all faculty and staff to select a permit by July 12.

What if You Don't Know if You Will Need a Permit?

With so much uncertainty, we realize it might be difficult to predict your need for parking in the fall. By signing up now, you secure your permit in the event you need it. If your work situation changes and you do not need to park on campus, you may contact us to cancel your permit request.

If you cancel it before permits are mailed out in early August, nothing else will be required. If your permit has already been mailed, you will need to arrange to return it to us. Either way, as long as you notify us before Sept. 9, you won’t be charged for a returned or canceled permit.
