Room Checks Still Occurring Today
Student Housing and Residential Life staff will be visiting rooms individually to assess physical damage as a result of the weather. Student Housing and Residential Life staff will knock and announce themselves before entering your room.

Boil Water Notice & Bottled Water
The boil water notice is still in effect for the city of Houston until further notice. Tap water is unsafe to drink. Bottled water has been distributed to each of the residence halls so visit the front desk to collect bottles for individual use.

Parking Update
Relaxed parking rules remain in effect until 7 a.m. Monday (Feb. 22). Anyone with a valid UH parking permit may park in any ungated student lot or ungated faculty-staff lot during this time. Make sure the parking permit is clearly visible and do not park in reserved, disabled, 20-minute unloading or metered spaces. Anyone who parks in a metered space must pay the fee, even if they have a valid UH parking permit. Cougar Ride late-night on-demand shuttle van service resumes Sunday. Full Cougar Line shuttle service resumes Monday morning.

If you need to park in a different parking zone as a result of being relocated to a temporary space, please contact Parking via e-mail at parking@uh.edu. Please reach out to Parking in advance at parking@uh.edu if you have any questions.
