Embroidery Workshops

Register for the beginner's embroidery workshop (multiple sessions available). You will learn how to stitch seven different embroidery stitches, creating an 8" diameter sampler in the colors of your choice. No experience required. Starts: February 18, 2 p.m., UH Libraries Makerspace

Arduino Workshops

Register for the Intro to Arduino Workshop Series (Session 1; Introduction, Outputs and LED Lights)!

The Arduino is the most affordable and accessible microcontroller available. It has the ability to accomplish almost all simple electronic projects, robots, and is the perfect introduction to programming in C++. These five workshops offers an introduction to Arduino so you can build your robot, class project, or just improve your home – without any programming experience needed. These workshops are open to everyone, and you don't need to take one workshop in order to understand everything. When: February 18, 2 p.m., UH Libraries Makerspace

Rec Beats

Forget Fatphobia & Liberate Your Body

During this session, participants will explore the connections between fatphobia and other forms of systemic oppression, identify the ripple effects of diet culture, and learn about movements to embrace all bodies, including body positivity, fat acceptance, and Health at Every Size. Suicide Prevention Training: QPR

Join Counseling and Psychological Services every Monday and Thursday, Noon  to 1 p.m. to learn the skills needed to prevent suicide and create a community of care at UH. Sign up is required.
