Special Resources for Reflection on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
In addition to our regular updates, we are providing the UH community with some resources to reflect on and strengthen their commitment to Black lives and other communities of color.
QUESTIONS FOR YOURSELF/YOUR ORGANIZATION/YOUR COUNCIL IN STARTING ANTI-RACISM WORK
- What can you do to support people of color in your community?
- What are your local politicians’ policy on ending police violence?
- When were you taught about race and culture?
- How do you use anti-racist knowledge to change and progress conversations with friends, family, colleagues and peers?
- How can you be actively anti-racist instead of simply “not racist”? What do you see as the difference between those two paradigms?
- What do you want to learn more about?
