Homecoming 2021 starts next week!

The University of Houston proudly presents Homecoming 2021! Homecoming is a week celebrating the University of Houston, uniting students and organizations, and showcasing Cougar Pride and Cougar Spirit during one of the oldest traditions on campus! For each day of Homecoming, there are different events for students, alumni, and the UH community. Mark your calendars this year for Homecoming 2021, and celebrate Homecoming with us October 18 – October 23, 2021!

UH Campus Store Grand-Re-Opening

The UH Campus Store is having a grand re-opening through October 13! Students can play Plinko and win prizes, plus there will be other events, such as:

• Play table and yard games like Cup Pong, Connect Four and Corn Hole!
• Adam Arafat Author Signing, Adam is a University of Houston Alumnus and a Houston Native! He is the author of ‘Be Someone” and will be in store to talk about his book! Come get a copy and get it signed!
• Random winner of the day will receive an iPad!
• October 13 Coffee Crawl, get an extra punch, Course Material Representatives in store!

FAFSA Workshop

The FAFSA is open for the 2022-2023 academic year; but do you need a bit of extra help? Staff from Enrollment Services (including Financial Aid) will be sharing need to know information and answering your questions! RSVP here. When: October 14, 3 p.m., Zoom

Important Dates

Fall 2021 Session 5: The University Payment is due Thursday, October 14.

Fall 2021 Session 4: The last day to drop a course or withdraw with a 'W' is Monday, October 18.

Fall 2021: The 3rd Installment for the Payment Plan is due Monday, October 18.

UH at Sugar Land Career Fair

The UH at Sugar Land Career Fair is a collaboration between University Career Services (UCS), the UH at Sugar Land campus and Fort Bend County. This event is an opportunity for local Fort Bend companies to recruit UH students and alumni for open roles. This event is open to all majors but is targeted to majors and colleges at the UH at Sugar Land campus—including, Education, Engineering, Technology and Nursing. When: October 23, 10 a.m. to Noon, UH at Sugar Land, Brazos Hall

• Join us for Biking at Spring Greenway Trail! This 2 hour bike ride takes you through of the most beautiful trails in the area. Beginners welcomed! Register by 10/13/21 on myrec.uh.edu! When: October 16 at 6:30 a.m., meet at Campus Rec
