COVID-19: Reporting and Health Assessments

The University of Houston has important health and safey protocols for COVID-19. Each student should have received a reminder earlier today about the reporting requirements (if you received a diagnosis, positive test result or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19) and the daily health assessment. Please review these important reminders about COVID-19.

Live On Campus this Spring

Apply today to live on campus this spring! There are spaces available in every residence hall. The $300 prepayment is waived! All you need to get started is your $50 application fee. Login to AccessUH and select the myHousing portal to apply! More information can be found at the Student Housing and Residential Life website.

Join CAPS every Wednesday this month from 12 to 1 p.m. to learn the skills needed to prevent suicide and create a community of care at UH. Sign up is required. October trainings are filling fast! An Evening with Martial Caillebotte and Friends (Virtual Recital)

Dominique McCormick, soprano, and Keith Weber, pianist and guest Jeffrey Ragsdale, tenor, invite you to an evening at a Parisian Salon. During this virtual recital, explore the beginnings of impressionism in music and hear the exploratory harmonies and compositional techniques of Marital Caillebotte, the younger brother of the famous impressionist painter Gustave Caillebotte.

Virtual Conversation with Kevin Puts and Mark Campbell, Award Winning Composer-Librettist Team

Moores Opera Center is pleased to present a virtual conversation with Composer Kevin Puts and Librettist Mark Campbell. The master class is free to the public and will be streamed live via Zoom. The conversation will be hosted by Moores Opera Center’s Artistic Director Buck Ross, and the duo will discuss their creative process and what it’s like to write opera in our current times.
