The FAFSA priority deadline is Friday, January 15. The Spring Session 1, 2, and 3 payment deadline is Tuesday, January 12.

 Trouble in Tahiti (Opera Film Series)
The second production of the Moores Opera Center Opera Film Series, this jazzy, touching score by Leonard Bernstein examines married life in 1950s suburbia. This production will be released via Facebook Live in six episodes occurring nightly from January 18-23, 2021. One cast’s episode will air at 7:30 p.m. and the other cast’s at 8 p.m.

La Cenerentola (Cinderella)
Moores Opera Center presents another live, in-person opera experience featuring Rossini’s comic retelling of the Cinderella story. Cinderella gets the royal treatment. But can true love still triumph when you are surrounded by lunatics? This marvelously fractured version of the classic fairy tale will please everyone. Performances will be sung with orchestra and socially distanced to protect both the musicians and audience. Come hear some of Houston’s only live, in-person opera this season!
