Be a UH RA

Are you interested in being a Resident Advisor in SHRL? Here's what you need to do:

  1. Fill out the RA Interest Form in your myHousing Portal.
  2. Attend a Q&A Session via Zoom to learn more about the RA Position (optional).

Zoom Q&A Sessions:

  • Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 7 p.m.

Students must complete an interest form to receive an application for a Resident Advisor position in Student Housing and Residential Life.

The application for the RA position opens on Monday, January 18, 2021, and closes on Friday, January 29, 2021. For more information, visit the SHRL Student Employment page.

Suicide Prevention Training: QPR

Join CAPS every Tuesday and Friday this month from 12 to 1 p.m. to learn the skills needed to prevent suicide and create a community of care at UH. Sign up is required.

CAPS is here for our Cougar staff, faculty and students! Do you need a brief 1-on-1 consultation with a counselor, but not interested in on-going services? “Let’s Talk” is a perfect alternative. This consultation service is available via zoom (91244361097):

  • Mondays 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3-4 p.m. 
  • Tuesdays 10-11 a.m. and 3-4 p.m.
  • Wednesdays 3-4 p.m.
  • Thursdays 3-4 p.m.

The last day to add a class for Spring Session 2 and 3 is Thursday, January 21. The last day to drop a course or withdraw without receiving a grade is Friday, January 22.
