Homecoming Week Festivities

Join us the week of November 9th–14th for Homecoming Week! A whole week filled with fun activities and mingling with different organizations while celebrating our University! The Kick Off Pep Rally is tonight from 6:30-8:30 p.m., with more festivities all week, including a Virtual Escape Room, Rock the Campus with MVP, a DJ Battle and a Concert with SPB.

Events are virtual and happen all week!

International Education Week

Come join us in celebrating our cultural diversity and learning about international programs during International Education Week by attending any of the exciting virtual events hosted by UH Departments and student organizations.

Live On Campus This Spring

Apply today to live on campus this spring! There are spaces available in every residence hall. The $300 prepayment is waived! All you need to get started is your $50 application fee. Login to AccessUH and select the myHousing portal to apply! More information can be found at the Student Housing and Residential Life website.

Let's Talk — Election Debrief

CAPS is here for you, Cougars! Do you need a brief (15-20 minutes) consultation with a counselor, but not interested in ongoing services? “Let’s Talk” is a perfect alternative. This consultation service is available to all UH students, faculty, and staff. To access a counselor, call 713-743-5454 and Let’s Talk!

  • Mondays 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 3-4 p.m.
  • Tuesdays, 10-11 a.m. and 3-4 p.m.
  • Wednesdays through Fridays, 3-4 p.m. 

Faculty Recital — Andrew Staupe, piano

This live in-person and virtually live-streamed recital will present Moores School of Music Faculty, Andrew Staupe playing multiple pieces on the piano including works from Beethoven, Barber, Froberger and more.

Social distancing and masks are required. Free for both live in-person and livestreamed versions, but RSVP is required for both.

Join CAPS every Wednesday this month to learn the skills needed to prevent suicide and create a community of care at UH. Sign up is required. November trainings are filling fast! Have a group of 10 or more you'd like trained? Complete our outreach request form to coordinate alternative times.
